Sasfin Content Hub

The Sasfin Content Hub helped them overcome the limitations of their website. It’s now an essential business, insights, and lead-generation tool.

Sasfin’s website is built in a way that doesn’t allow easy content updates. (Edit, looks like they finally went live with our new version in 2022) Long turnaround times on the publishing of any new content or changes to existing pages massively hampered the marketing team’s ability to use this owned platform effectively. Our client wanted to reposition Sasfin through the creation and sharing of thought leadership content and we spotted an opportunity y to prove that a more efficient system could be implemented on the ancient Sasfin website to speed up content updates. With this in mind, we used the same Umbraco CMS they had built everything on to prove our point. There are definitely better tools for the job, but we made it work.

Our process.

We audited all the existing content on the media section of Sasfin’s website. From this, we were able to suggest content categories and subcategories. After workshopping the categories and names with key stakeholders because you have to, we created a sitemap aligned with Sasfin’s business and positioning goals. At the same time, we researched and presented best practice examples from local and international sites to gauge the reaction to various layout and design language options.
